           1)  Daniel Silverbach was fired from the Branchburg Police Department at 7 AM this morning for failing to meet grooming stands.
            "Silverbach mustache and sideburns were only a quarter inch too long and his side burns were only a half inch too long and when the department brought this to his attention he refused to trim them".
             Last year Silverbach had been recognized as a hero because he saved a total of seven people who were being held at gunpoint during a robbery, so the chief of police named Silverbach Police Officer of the year.
             "Officer Silverbach was warned a month ago about having to trim his facial hair and was told to trim his facial hair the first of last week," said police chief Barry Kopperud





4)            The home of Dorothy Elam was burglarized yesterday afternoon in branchburg while she was attending her husbands funeral. 
             "Neighbors said they spotted a truck parked in the driveway but thought some repair man was working at the home", said John Smith a next door neighbor.
             Thieves took a VCR, a stamp collection, a computer, two pistols, and other household items totaling over $8,000.
          "No one was home as we were at the services for my husband", said Elam
           Mr Roger Elam passed after a long battle with cancer.






 5)        Branchburg Resident Gladys Riggs has not revived her social security benefits in 4 month as of this morning because of a clerical error.
           "I need these checks so I can live and not be forced to live on the street", said Riggs
            Her check was sent back four month ago and it was marked deceased causing to cancel her benefits.
              "We are working on the problem and what could have gone wrong, once we figure out the problem Mr.s Riggs will be receiving all of her checks that she didn't receive for the past 4 month", said the social security office
               Her husband George died 10 years ago






2)          Terri Snow went to see her husband at the hospital were he was crippled after a driving accident causing both of his arms and legs to be paralyzed, while in the hospital the couple got a suggestion from state officials after it was discovered that Dave snow received  $345 a month from the states Department of Social services and a monthly $792 federal Supplemental Security Income payment.
           "Because of his wife's income, Dave Snow cannot be eligible for the payments and because of this the snows cannot pay for Dave's medical treatment and special diet", said state officials
             State officials have told Terri that if she decides to get the divorce from her husband Dave that she will be come eligible for the aid.
            "It is going to be essay for her if she gets the divorce because that way she can take care of herself and only have to worry about herself", said member of a state officials
             Terri is a nurse at Mercy Hospital and Her husband is a retired eight-grade science teacher at Mays junior High School
